FAQs for members
MoneyHelper is a government-backed service in the UK that provides free and impartial guidance on money and pensions.
The MoneyHelper Pensions Dashboard will be a free, online service where you can see your pensions in one secure place, including your:
- State Pension
- workplace pensions
- personal pensions
This includes pensions you may have lost touch with.
It will show people the value of their pensions today and at retirement, so they can get a clearer picture of their future finances.
The Dashboard is still in development and is currently being tested by MoneyHelper before it is launched.
MoneyHelper has asked pension providers like now:pensions, who’ve already connected their pension data to the Dashboard, to ask their members if they’d like to sign up to the Dashboard research panel. Members who sign up and are invited to take part will test the Dashboard before it’s made available to the public. Feedback from real users will help improve the Dashboard before it is publicly released.
MoneyHelper isn’t limiting how many people can sign up to the research panel, but they can’t guarantee that everyone who signs up will be invited to take part in testing. People who aren’t invited to take part during this phase of testing may be invited to take part at a later date.
Once you’ve signed up to the research panel, you may be invited to take part at any stage during this phase of testing, which is expected to last up to 9 months.
If you get invited and take part, to say thanks, you’ll receive:
- a high street voucher worth £50 if you take part in a session with a researcher
- a £10 high street voucher for shorter tasks, like completing a survey after testing the dashboard on your own.
Yes – you can sign up to the MoneyHelper Dashboard research panel here: MHPD research panel | MoneyHelper.
MoneyHelper will ask you to share some personal information when you join their research panel, such as your age, location and whether you have any accessibility needs. MoneyHelper says the information you share with it will be encrypted and access to it will be restricted.
MoneyHelper doesn’t have a date for when their Pensions Dashboard will be made available to the public yet.
When it’s ready, anyone with a UK pension that has not started paying out can use the Pensions Dashboard on their computer, tablet or smartphone.
