Some of the most financially-at-risk groups in our society continue to find themselves on the wrong side of a significant pension savings gap.

The 2025 underpensioned report finds:

  • The underpensioned gap is now at 57% – the highest level since we began reporting in 2020.
  • Of the underpensioned groups, people with disabilities have the lowest pension income at just 43% of the UK average.
  • There are 11 million underpensioned individuals working in the UK, that’s 37.93% of the workforce.
