Members How to appoint someone to manage your now:pensions account

Once you’ve chosen who you want to manage your account on your behalf and they’ve agreed, let us know by contacting us on webchat. We’ll send an email with a Giving someone access to your now:pensions account form to your now:u mailbox.

You’ll need to fill in your own details and the details of the person you want to manage your account.

Access levels

You can choose from two access levels for the person you want to manage your account.

  1. Full access

This means they can look at your information in now:u, make changes and give instructions in the same way you would if you were managing your account directly.

If the person you’re appointing has power of attorney to look after your finances, they’ll automatically get full access.

  1. Read-only access

This means they can look at your information in now:u, but can’t change it.

Accepting your invitation

We’ll send the person you’ve appointed an email with a security code so they can accept your invitation and set themselves up on now:u. Once they’ve done this, we’ll send you an email to confirm.

Changing the person who manages your account

Tell us if you need to change:

  • the person who manages your account
  • the access level of the person who manages your account

We’ll send you a form so you can name someone else to manage your account, remove the person you’ve named from your account, or change their access level.
