What can you update in now:u?

Your mobile number

Log in to now:u. From your Snapshot, choose the Profile icon. Go to Personal details.

Choose the pencil icon and put in your new mobile number.

We’ll send a one-time security code to the number you’ve put in.

Check your message and put in the security code when you’re asked for it.

We’ll email you to confirm your mobile number’s been updated.

Your email address

Log in to now:u. From your Snapshot, choose the Profile icon. Go to Personal details.

Choose the pencil icon and put in your new email address.

We’ll send a one-time security code to the new email address you’ve put in.

Check your email and put in the security code when you’re asked for it.

We’ll email you to confirm your email address has changed.

If you use your email address as your username, changing the email address won’t change your now:u username. If you want to use your new email address as your username, you’ll need to change your username separately.

Your username

Log in to now:u. From your Snapshot, choose the Profile icon. Go to Personal details.

Choose the pencil icon and put in your new username.

Choose Check username to see if it’s available.

If the username is available, choose Update.

If the username isn’t available, put in a different username.

We’ll email you to confirm your username has changed.

Changing your username won’t change your now:u email address, even if you choose a different email address as your username. Only your username will change. If you want to change your now:u email address, you’ll need to do this separately.

Your password

Log in to now:u. From your Snapshot, choose the Profile icon. Go to Personal details.

Choose the pencil icon and put in your new password.

Your password must be at least 8 characters long and contain at least one:

  • uppercase letter (A-Z)
  • lowercase letter (a-z)
  • number (0-9)
  • special character (^ $ * . [ ] { } ( ) ? – ” ! @ # % & / \ , > < ‘ : ; | _ ~ ` + =). Here are a couple of example passwords: BIGjelly22Fi$h,!Lov3MyPiano. Don’t use these exact ones – come up with your own.

Confirm your new password by putting it in again. Use the eye icon to make your password visible if you want to be sure you’re putting it in correctly.

Choose Update password.

We’ll email you to confirm your password has changed.

What can you not update in now:u?

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Date of birth
  • National Insurance number

Currently paying in to your now:pensions savings?
You’ll need to ask your workplace to change these details for you.

No longer employed at a workplace that uses now:pensions?
You’ll need to download and fill in a form, and send evidence of the change.

Go to your Profile settings in now:u and choose How do I change my personal details? From the drop-down, choose Download form.
