NOW: Pensions enrols its 1.5 millionth member

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Wednesday 17 January 2018

Workplace pension provider NOW: Pensions has today announced its enrolled 1.5 million members and signed up 30,000 employers – just six years on from accepting its first member.

The milestones were reached with the enrolment of an employee from Sealclean; a dry-cleaning and laundry service company based in Tonbridge, Kent, and the 30,000th employer is Quale Homes Limited, a housing development company from Fife, Scotland who signed up with the help of their payroll bureau Paterson Boyd & Co.

NOW: Pensions is a company wholly owned by Danish pension scheme ATP, one of Europe’s largest pension funds, launching in the UK in 2011. From a standing start and with no existing client base, it has grown to become the third largest master trust with more than £560 million* in assets under management.

Troy Clutterbuck, Interim CEO, NOW: Pensions said:In a very short space of time, NOW: Pensions has gone from being a complete unknown to one of the largest workplace pension providers in the UK.

“As a rapidly growing company in a constantly evolving market we’ve had our challenges along the way. But, as auto enrolment matures, we remain committed to ensuring the policy is a success and that it delivers on its promise of providing thousands more people with a better retirement.”
