The New Model Business Academy (NMBA), the not-for-profit business and learning academy, has appointed NOW: Pensions as a new partner to support and educate its members about the upcoming auto enrolment opportunities.
NOW: Pensions will help prepare members ahead of auto enrolment so that they are best placed to service business owners being affected by the approaching developments.
Lee Travis, CEO of NMBA, said: “While we were originally set up to provide advisers with support through the RDR, we continue to attract quality partnerships to develop services for advisers across all sections of their business. Following demand from advisers, NOW: Pensions will educate our members about the opportunities of auto enrolment to help them generate business and best advise their clients in the timeframe.
“As a not-for-profit academy, our offering is dependent on the support of our partners. The fact that we now have a record number of supporting partners for our 14,000 strong members is testament to the value we bring and education services we offer to the profession.”
Morten Nilsson, CEO of NOW: Pensions added: “So far, only the largest employers have reached their staging date but from the end of this year the market will begin to accelerate. Thousands of firms every month will have to make sure they comply with the auto enrolment legislation and these business owners will need help and support.
“Auto enrolment can be complex and we are very pleased to partner with the NMBA to help inform members about all aspects of auto enrolment. Armed with the right tools and information, advisers should be well placed to capitalise on the opportunities that exist in the market.”
