How do I spot a fraudulent email?

In some cases, emails, may appear genuine on first sight, but may originate from an unusual domain such as nowpensions.net. Fraudulent emails may also use generic greetings such as ‘Dear recipient’ and may contain incorrect details or have poor spelling and grammar.

The vast majority of our clients pay contributions across to us via Direct Debit and we do not accept payments directly from employees at all. If you receive a request for a BACS or CHAPS payment please be cautious and be sure to verify the bank account details with us by calling our support team before paying any monies.

Please note that we haven’t changed our bank account details since 2014 so beware of paying any contributions to an unfamiliar or new bank account.
