What is a Pay Period?

A pay period is the tax period in the payroll, e.g. 1 – 12 for monthly payroll or 1 – 52 for weekly payroll.

You will need to input this detail when setting up a payroll and uploading each payroll file.
The pay period is referred to in the NOW: File Format as PAYPERIOD.
