Our Governance

NOW: Pensions is a  leading UK multi-employer master trust. Started in 2012, we serve tens of thousands of employers and 1.7 million members from a wide range of sectors.

Part of the the Cardano Group, it is our mission to help all members save for a better, more financially secure future. NOW: Pensions offers a simple and cost effective workplace pension designed specifically with the auto enrolment market in mind. The master trust structure enables employers of all sizes to benefit from independent governance without incurring the costs normally associated with establishing and running a single employer trust based scheme.

NOW: Pensions works with independent financial advisers and the payroll sector to help serve their clients as well as supporting employers directly.

NOW: Pensions has two boards: a Trustee Board and a Commercial Board.

The NOW: Pensions Trustee Board‘s sole responsibility is to ensure that the scheme is run in the best interests of the members at all times. It is an independent body comprised of very experienced individuals with relevant backgrounds and credentials. The Trustee Board oversees decisions on crucial issues such as investment strategy, charges, pension administration and overall risk framework. In order to demonstrate the actions the Trustee have taken over the Scheme Year ending 31 March 2019 to comply with statutory governance standards,  an annual statement is produced by the Chair of Trustee. The latest Chair Statement can be downloaded here.

The Statement of Investment Principles sets out the principles, beliefs and policies adopted by NOW: Pension Trustee Limited (the Trustee) in investing the assets of NOW: Pensions Trust (the Trust). View the Statement of Investment Principles.

The Commercial Board is concerned with the day to day running of NOW: Pensions; the people, the customers, the operations and the financials.

NOW: Pensions has a good technical infrastructure combined with a pension product suitable for our team. We couldn’t be happier with NOW: Pensions.
